Support and help when you need it

We provide a wide range of services to support you during your time at college. Alongside your personal tutor, you will have access to a large Student Support Team, including Study Skills coaches, counsellors, and financial advice. If you need assistance with research or digital skills, the Library team are on hand to assist you. We also have an active Student Union, for students and run by students. Make the most of your time at college by getting involved and being part of an inclusive and friendly community.

Library and Online Resources

The libraries provide access to all the resources you need for your studies.

As well as borrowing books to use at home, you have access to high quality information and e-books from the online library on Moodle.  You can start reading e-books and using resources straight away.

Log in using your college ID number and password.

Student support

On campus, Student Support staff are based in The Student Zones where all students can receive help, advice and support. Staff in the Student Zone provide many support services that underpin your learning journey, including;NPTC wellbeing logo

  • Enrolling on, and starting your course
  • Student Finance 
  • Guidance and careers
  • Study support
  • Additional learning needs (ALN) and disability support
  • Additional support for people with caring responsibilities and care experienced young people, veterans of the armed forces and serving families, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC)
  • Counselling and safeguarding
  • Mentoring and UCAS

Wellbeing

Our Wellbeing team can help you settle in to college when you are a new student and during your time with us.  When the time comes, they can also help you  to progress beyond NPTC Group of Colleges to further study or employment.
