When you enrol on a course you will be sent an email with your student ID number and a password. You will need these details to log on to all college systems and resources.
Username: Different systems will require you to enter your username either as:
Password: Your first password is your student number and your home postcode (using capital letters) e.g. 123456SA107RF.

As soon as your college account is live, you should change your password to something that is more secure.
Sign into your college Microsoft account using your college email address, e.g. 123456@nptcgroup.ac.uk and password.
Go to settings and select 'Change your password'.
On the Change your password page, enter your current password and then enter your new password and Save.
Your email address is your student number, followed by @nptcgroup.ac.uk, e.g. 123456@nptcgroup.ac.uk

If you don't remember your password or you have tried your password too many times and locked your account, then you can reset it.
From the Enter password screen, select 'Forgot my password' and follow the instructions.
If you are having difficulty logging in and need help resetting your password you can e-mail: itservices@nptcgroup.ac.uk and ask them to re-set the password for you.
IT Services staff are available 9.00am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
You can also go to the library to have your password reset.
Don't forget your student ID card! Staff will not be able to reset your password unless you have a current ID card.
